Just posted on YouTube – a video outlining in detail the technique of using phase reversal and stereo flipping to hear only panned tracks in a stereo mix – cancelling anything which is panned centrally. I have shown two methods to do this in the video – one using standard DAW editing techniques, the other using an MS encoding/decoding plugin (MSED by Voxengo) to achieve the same with a neater workflow.
