In all my tutorials I make as much use as possible of free and included plugins, because there’s a great deal you can do with them, and a lot to be learned by working with them.

However, I use quite a few paid plugins in my production work, and one of the manufacturers with a fair few go-to plugins I use is Waves.  They’ve been around a long time, and while some of their offerings are showing their age now, they have some plugins which I use on just about every session.
