After several years of not selling on Amazon, I have relented and made ‘The Complete Guide 10.5’ available on the platform.  My reasons for not selling on Amazon are fairly simple – there’s much less revenue per book when selling on Amazon (under half of that when a book is sold on Lulu – which means in reality that the discounts that Amazon offers come directly from the book creator, and they still get the same amount), but analysis of the stats of a title that was available on both lulu and amazon showed that it would probably be worthwhile doing so – particularly given the fact that most people have an Amazon account, and many will get free shipping on books that they buy from the platform.
